Robert Pattinson, the new household name of the film industry, was born in London, England in 1986, May 13. His awakening career came from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to the very famous Edward Cullen of the Twilight saga.
With his career in the entertainment industry, his acting has made its worth in his ten awards and five nominations throughout his acting career. We can be fairly sure to say there are many more nominations and awards in the future for him.
Research shows that Robert first appeared in the film world in 'Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King' at the age of 18 years. Then a couple of years later he popped into the limelight with 'Harry Potter'. Now of course he is Edward Cullen in The Twilight saga films. With many more films and TV series hidden along in his life.
Other research shows he did start working at a young age, doing newspaper rounds at 10 years, then modeling at 12 years. He was in the theatre at the age of 15 years; he played in the Ring of the Nibelungs in 2004 and Kingdom of Twilight as Giselhar. It looks like dear Robert Pattinson has a thing for 'Twilight' in some way or another. The audition for the Twilight part, Edward Cullen, was out of some 3000 actors that Robert Pattinson was selected from and they couldn't have done a better selection of the cast of The Twilight saga.
In 2008 Robert was awarded the Best actor award at the Strasbourg Film Festival, for his performance as 'Art' in the film 'How to be'. Robert supports the Arsenal football Club and he plays guitar and piano. He has indirectly put into words that he is a romantic type, with him liking 'The Notebook'.
Robert has had two great experiences working in the film industry that few get. When he worked on Harry Potter, they taught him to scuba dive (lucky fish), and then on oh so blissful Twilight, he did a ten hour driving crash course. But you need to work very hard and prove your self-worth to the film industry. Most would agree he clearly works hard at his acting career.
As Robert is the biggest British Movie Star in Hollywood, many say 'move over' to a few great actors, let the fresh talent shine and grow. Robert, the gentleman, has his own website with all blurbs on his fame splashed out. His website is proof of his popularity alone, as it has already received over one million visitors. Robert is sure to continue his rise in fame and become as successful, if not more so, than the likes of George Clooney, Matt Damon, Hugh Grant and many other famous actors.
If you watched the movie Twilight, you must have been moved by the Robert Pattinson piano playing scene. Even die hard vampire fans, who are so used to bloody and gory scenes, must have felt the power of love when Edward Cullen, Pattinson's character, played the piano. Because of Twilight's huge success, the whole vampire love story series written by Stephenie Meyer is now being labeled as a phenomenon that can potentially match or even surpass the success of another fantasy-slash-magical movie series known as Harry Potter. Sure enough, there are many reasons why the film has been well received by millions of moviegoers and critics worldwide. But there is no doubt that one of the much-loved parts of the movie is the piano playing scene.
Indeed, piano playing has never been this cool, especially for young adults who have been so used to grunge or hard rock music. With heartthrob Robert Pattinson playing the piano, he has influenced countless children and young adults into learning the piano. A British born actor and musician, Pattinson proved that playing the piano can only make one look more gorgeous. The actor was the one actually playing the musical instrument when he dished out Belle's Lullaby, the heartwarming song dedicated to his love interest in the movie.
But outside the movie Twilight, Robert Pattinson really dreams of becoming a professional pianist who would play in a bar for the rest of his life. In fact, he did not even aspire to become an actor. He confessed that he loved the piano ever since he was just a young boy. Today, he is both a famous actor and a great piano player. Many fans out there would surely want to follow in his footsteps. But more than just becoming actors, it can be said that playing the piano or becoming a professional pianist is back on the list of kids and young adults who watched the Twilight movie.
Well, the good news is that learning how to play the piano has never been easier. Nowadays, there are countless piano tutorials available not just through home tutors but even via DVDs and online videos. If you want to learn the piano, you can easily find a piano teacher who will be able to teach you the essential techniques used to play the instrument.
