As a rapper and producer, Kanye West is far more famous then his three albums would let you know. Kanye West rose to fame in the early 2000’s and has yet to give up his prominent role as both rapper and now singer. In 2004 after many years of producing, the first Kanye West album “the college dropout” was released. The college dropout Kanye West album was based on the fact that he is a real college dropout who pursued his dream of producing and rapping.
If you know anything about Kanye West, you know that there is usually a media circus surrounding him - or something he's done - or something he's said. While he's been known in the past as someone who has hated Twitter (and certain Presidents), people sometimes forget that he's actually a good musician. I don't know if I would give him the poet title yet, but he's on the path perhaps. (On a side note, I'd love to see a serious book of poetry released by Yeezy. I bet it would sell.) But back to the new Kanye West album.
Whatever the reason for changing the name of the new Kanye West album, fans all over the world are eagerly awaiting the rumored September 14, 2010 release date. In the days and months to come, you can expect many, many pranks and misinformation about the new Kanye West. It's always best to check his official websites for the latest information on Kanye West. Now that's easier than ever since he's Tweeting - a lot. Not all the tweets are in all caps, either, which is good.
It remains to be seen if Kanye is going to concentrate on the music once again and come out with an album in 2010 that's better than everything he's done in the past. When you consider the work he has done already, however, you can see how big of a task this really is. One thing is for certain. if Kanye West is half as good at music as he is at marketing and using big media to his benefit, the new album is going to be off the hook. From the first single - Power - that was released, however, it looks like Mr. West may mix politics and his personal life even deeper into his music.
